About two-thirds of students say they're lonely. Clubs ask for a lot up front. Everything else starts with a photo. So people sit near the same strangers in Con Hall all term and never learn a name.

A casual friend takes about 50 hours together; a close one about 200 (Hall 2019). Nobody gets there from one conversation, so the people who click keep getting seated at the same table until the hours add up.
The line
Everything in the app is about making friends, and nothing in it pushes past that. What two friends do after that is theirs.
Who builds it
